Digital SLR Cameras
Digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) cameras produce clearer, sharper images than the available point and shoot digital cameras. As time goes on, the SLR cameras are now more affordable then ever. Why would you spend the extra money to get a Digital SLR camera?
Several reasons come to mind. The digital SLR's have a sensor that is much larger than those on the point and shoots. This translates directly to a better quality image. Ever missed a photo op because the camera didn't take the shot fast enough? With the SLR, there is virtually no lag time between the click and the picture being taken.
I can't tell you how many photos I've missed because of the time delay in turning on my camera, focusing and then taking the picture. With the digital SLR camera, turn it on and you are ready to go. I don't know about you, but as I grow older, I have a difficult time seeing the LCD panel clearly. With the SLR's viewfinder, I'm able to focus much better on the composition of the shot.
